Valentine's Day is coming up, and you're probably under a lot of pressure to find the perfect gift for your honey. But times are tough, and a lot of people just don't have the budget to be able to wine and dine these days. Fortunately, there are ways to save money on great gifts. You can save on Valentine's Day this year by getting your main squeeze a great t-shirt. Not only is this a very practical gift, but it can also be fashionable. There's lots of selection, so you can give the perfect style for the occasion. Here are three ways that you can use a t-shirt to save more on Valentine's Day

1. Instead of getting a card and a gift, why not give a gift that is like a card? You can save on Valentine's Day by getting a good t-shirt and decorating it yourself. You can get t-shirt decorating materials at your local craft store, and you can make a custom t-shirt for your beloved that sends a very clear message: "I love you!" You don't have to be artistic or skilled in order to do this. It's the thought that counts. And this thought will help you to save money.

2. Relationships aren't just about what you give to each other; it's about experiences. So why not get your partner in crime an active t-shirt and then take them out to participate in a favorite activity? If she loves hiking, get her a t-shirt and take her on a romantic hike. If he loves golf, get him a golf tee and take him for a mini-golf date. You can save money and give your loved one memories that will last a lifetime. And you don't have to blow lots of money to make it memorable. You can save on Valentine's Day and still have a memorable day.

3. Flashy clothes are fun to have, but you just couldn't live without the essentials. Give your loved one a basic tee for Valentine's Day and include a card that tells him or her: "You are a basic staple of my wardrobe. I just wouldn't be the same without you." This one statement and a simple tee is a great way to save money without skimping on sentiment. Every time your loved one wears that t-shirt, he or she will remember just how important they are to you. And it's a great way to save on Valentine's Day, too.
