When looking to plan a Bali wedding, there is no better option that to get married on the sand. A spectacular beach wedding is the perfect way to celebrate spending the rest of your life with the one you love. Just picture it: You are in your wedding dress and walking on the beach at sunset to the one you love. You can even have your wedding reception in the sun if you so choose. There is just nothing quite like having your wedding near the ocean surf.
The first you thing you need to do in order to have your Bali wedding is make sure you and your future spouse follow all of the rules of getting married in Indonesia. When you seek to be married in Indonesia, you both have to declare a religion and, unfortunately, atheism and agnosticism are not currently recognized as religions. Also, both of you must declare the same religion or sign a document stating that the person who differs will be converting to the religion of the other. If you are of non-Islamic faith, before the wedding on the beach, you will have to file your Intent to Marry and a Letter of No Impediment obtained from your Consulate with the Civil Registry Office. Once that is satisfactorily completed, you are free to continue with your Bali wedding.
When planning your Bali wedding, you will need to figure out if you want a daytime wedding on the beach or if you would rather be walking on the beach at sunset. A daytime wedding on the beach is wonderful, but you have to think about sun baking and there being more people around on the beach. Sunset makes for a spectacular beach wedding in Bali. Bali has some of the most dazzling sunsets in the world, so choosing that time of day to get married on the sand is very popular.
Probably one of the best parts about having a Bali wedding is that you can have your wedding and honeymoon in the same place. After celebrating your wedding on the beach at your beach reception, you can go to one of the luxurious hotels and stay in a lovely honeymoon suite. If you would prefer something a little more private, there are plenty of villas around that you can rent for a more isolated honeymoon. Either way you go, having a spectacular beach wedding in Bali is something that you and your spouse will remember for the rest of your lives.
